Zhengzhou, August 2024 – Under the full supervision of an authorized representative from China Association for Quality Inspection, AWD concluded a five-day lubricant laboratory technician course for 50 trainees from regional oil companies. After intensive lectures and hands-on drills, all participants passed the final theory and skill exams and received the Oil Test Specialist Certificate issued by China Association for Quality Inspection.
The programme retained its updated syllabus: instrument safety, lab management, lubricant fundamentals, interpretation of Oil Test standards, equipment principles, critical control points during an Oil Test, and real-world case studies on securing repeatable Oil Test results. Instructors delivered detailed sessions on standard methods, operating procedures, glassware and analytical balances, acid-base and gravimetric techniques, reagent preparation, new safety concepts, and the meaning of common lubricant indicators, interweaving numerous examples of how to achieve more reliable Oil Test data.
In the practical bay, AWD training engineers provided one-to-one coaching on parameter calibration, test sequences, key controls, result evaluation, troubleshooting and fault elimination using the following analyzers:
