Upon invitation from the China Association for Quality Inspection (CAQI) and together with the Tianjin Lubricants Association, our firm staged an “Advanced Lube Oil Testing Workshop” in Hebei, from 3 to 7 March 2025.
Forty lab specialists from lubricant plants across Hebei and nearby provinces finished the five-day boot-camp.
A CAQI auditor supervised every session; thirty-two attendees later passed the closed-book exam and practical trial, receiving the official Lube Oil Testing competency card.
The syllabus followed the 150 000-character manual debuted in Tianjin, giving each lube oil testing engineer a consistent, top-tier knowledge frame.
Classroom blocks explained:

l How to read and apply QC test protocols
l Analyser theory and daily checkpoints
l Critical steps that keep a lube oil testing sequence inside repeatability limits

Trainers walked through calibration, sample insertion, data review and fault fixes, then watched every trainee replicate the full lube oil testing chain. Instant coaching removed sloppy gestures and forced each candidate to hit the precision window quoted in the relevant ASTM clauses.
Delegates left confident, accurate and fluent in modern lube oil testing practice. CAQI has already asked for a repeat edition next autumn.
